The Descent of Man - Origin of Persons
According to a report published by the Toronto Star, there may be approximately 200 unregistered births per year in the province of Ontario.
And according to Dr. Arne Ohlssohn, quoted by the Star:
"It's the right of a child to be registered. That's the only way you become a person."
Once upon a time, an unborn child was considered a person. In time only born persons were considered persons. Now the only way you can become a person is by registration. Next?
Most birth registration as we know it today began around the turn of the century. Must be George Washington wasn't a person. Christopher Columbus couldn't possibly have been one.
Let's get this straight: The only way to be registered is to be registered. That 'right' can be taken away. How do you become a person? Did anyone on earth have any say in whether or not you and I would be persons or not? It is absolutely impossible to 'remove the right' of being a person.
Must be all this education is making people forget what they are anymore.

Woe for the day when governments decide if you are a 'you'! We have become foolish in our learning.
Good grief...now that is insane...
